This is a pretty complete kit. The glue gun is actually really nice because it has an on/off switch instead of just plugging or unplugging to turn it on and off. The glue they give you in the kit is junk and there are no real “finishing” tabs in this kit. If you want to not get frustrated when you start learning dent removal, right off the bat when you buy this kit, get yourself some of the Tack Weld gray glue sticks, the Burro Cactus Green glue sticks (and make sure it’s the ACTUAL Burro Cactus Green) from Keco Tabs along with a variety pack of flat faced Blue Ice finishing tabs and a rubber tipped tap down point tool. With these proper glues, you can actually pull on and pop the tabs with excellent adhesion which is essential. I learned the hard way so I’m telling you from experience. Yes, the glue they give you is junk. But the rest of the kit is well with the money given what you get altogether and then add the suggested items.With all that, you are at a great place to start popping out dents CORRECTLY. After getting the correct glue, those finishing tabs, and a tap down point along with this kit, I was able to do some pretty impressive work!! Definitely watch a few videos on how to relieve high pressure areas so that the flow of the dent is simply going in reverse order and you can take out some pretty respectable dents!! I was quite shocked at how well I was able to create outstanding results with this kit and those few added accessories. Most of the items in the kit are very good quality for what they are and it’s definitely worth the money even thought the glue they give you is junk. With those extra items that correct the issues not addressed in the kit, it’s all well worth the money.Important Tip: You will discover that the slide hammer is the way to go with most dents. The pop handle is cool, but you need to use different tools depending on what you’re pulling. The tip is to make DAMN sure you don’t have your hand over the edge of the impact side of that slide hammer when you slam it back. That is a pinch and blood blister of epic proportions that will have you kicking over lawn furniture for a good hour afterwards and you’ll be dropping F-bombs the whole time. Keep your hand on the lower 2/3rds of the slide handle and you will be fine. The slide hammer works much more effectively than the squeeze popping tool. The pull is far more direct and you get great force. The squeeze tool is best for working a dent that you can see the metal moving as you pulse the handle as the dent comes up before it lets go of the glue. And don’t press the tabs into the glue really hard. Make sure the dent area and the tab tip is wiped off with alcohol each time you glue down a tab. Plant the tabs down gently and straight off the dent area so they are at a 90° angle as best you can get it directly after applying the glue to the tab. You want there to be a thin layer of glue between the tab and the surface, not the tab pressed right against and fully touching the surface. Make sense? With the Tack Weld gray and Burro Cactus Green glues, you only have to wait about 30 seconds before popping a small dent like a hail strike dimple. Wait 2 or 3 minutes if you are pulling a really large tab with a lot of surface area to cure. The idea is to pull when the glue is still tacky but hard and not “fully” cured. If you wait to long you don’t get good force in your pull. Pull too soon and you have the same issue. There is a sweet spot and you will get the feel of that. It takes multiple pulls and pops to get out one small dent most of the time. But it works beautifully. This kit and all the suggested extras as I said is a perfect place to start.Go pull some dents!! It’s actually quite satisfying!! And can actually save you a bunch of money going DIY!! ?????I like the fact that this kit has everything you need to get started pulling dents, I purchased some other glue that was recommended by another reviewer, in my opinion the slide hammer should have a little more heft to it… I had some stuff laying around I was able to add some weight to it.Other than that, there’s not much to complain about, I haven’t used it a ton, but it does do the trick.I can see how this can work for passenger car, but it won't work well for pickup trucks as the metal is much thicker and harder to pull. You can still pull dents but will be hard to fix to satisfaction. The glue gun is cheap quality and doesn't work very effectively.First off, this is my first time trying dent removal, I watched a number of You Tube videos on how to and watched some more after running into problems. Started with a small hail type dent on my truck's side panel.I have been unable to make the glue work. Cleaned surface per all the videos and experimented with different glue cooling times with no luck. Then I switched to the stronger glue with the same results. Curing times were between 20 sec and 1:30 minutes but the glue separated from the tab each timeOne other issue I had (not just with the product but on the internet videos too) was there are a number of shapes with no real direction on what kind of dent they could be considered for In the case of my small round dent, I used a round tab a little smaller than the dent itselfWas able to pull a few small dents with this. Not perfectly but that likely has to do with technique and lack of time to spend refining my work. Some of the parts are high quality and others seem like generic imitations. But this is an art and an artist can make due with any tools they are provided.Do not expect to do this like a professional however it’s not that difficult yet it is somewhat time consuming. The medium glue worked best for me dries up in a couple of minutes. Started on the outside of the dent then worked my way to the center. It improved dent 60-70% and it’s possible to do much better with this kit. This was the first attempt. All the tools came in a box which is pretty neat. Cleaning the glue with scraper was somewhat useless using GooGone or paint thinner was much faster and more efficient. Didn’t have clear instructions but was simple to figure out. I only used the pull hammer and didn’t knock anything down. Looking forward for my second attempt at getting this dent in better shape. All in all it was worth the money and saved me $150 than dropping off at body shop for days. I would recommend this item but would highly recommend attempting to push the dent from inside with push rod just due to the fact that you don’t risk damaging the paint and it is less time consuming as well as less cleaning.I have used these tool sets to remove headlines on my 2016 forester and to remove some panels on the 2021 Forster. On both of these, the tools made it much easier and didn't mare or damage the car. they feel sturdy but I don't think they would hold up to daily use.Got this for dings in my fridge. Worked perfectly for this. On the car it's a little tricky. Need to work on technique. Great value once you get the hang of it.
